Pillars of Service
In conjunction with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Chi Zeta Omega Chapter, Pearls of Service, Inc. focuses on the following pillars in the Collin County area:
Activities designed to motivate, engage and assist students in reaching their maximum potential. Programs include academic enrichment and life skills training to support the journey to college or vocational employment and focus on achievement, self-awareness, communication, engagement, networking and developmental skills.
Health
Partner with the Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, American Stroke
Association, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness to promote awareness in the areas of Alzheimer’s disease, heart conditions, stroke and mental illness.
Family Empowerment
Partner with local agencies, food banks and community pantries to target critical issues facing many families, including lack of food, shelter and financial means.
Environmental and Global Concerns
Implement programs to provide healthy environments, improve the quality of life in the local community, and collaborate with the organizations to prepare today’s youth for an increasingly global and complex society.
